As we approach the New Year, I know I am not the only one who is getting tired. But now is precisely the time to make huge changes, right? We can do better! We can run faster! We can eat more kale … all in 2015.
Hm, let's think about that further. Goal setting is a wonderful thing. It is what inspires us to leave a prone, passive position in our lives. However, the excess of "doing better" can have us running at a frenetic pace. We try answering every chirp of our Smartphones, while logging our workouts and baking a cake from scratch. Especially in today's age of constant communication, the decision to Take a quick glance at a piece of nutrition literature — blogs, web resources, even printed information in the grocery store — and you'll see that most of the writing about why certain foods are "good" tends to be based on specific nutrients: How much of each you need, whether one food has more than another, etc.
But is this really how any of us eat? I just had a recent bicycling accident (hit a pothole and broke 8 ribs), so I am having some time to work from home, visit the hospital and other doctors, and slow down a little. (Yes it's very hard to slow down, but i'm reminding myself it's good for me).

Drama sucks.
Not “dramas” as in movies, TV shows, plays, etc that are serious in tone, but rather “drama” as in the petty ridiculous conflicts that get blown way out of proportion for no reason at all. Urban Dictionary has my favorite definition of this kind of drama: “making a big deal over something unnecessarily.” We’d like to believe that If you want more out of your life but can't quite seem to get there, here are three ways that you might be misusing the law of attraction and blocking yourself from abundance.
1. You set your intentions from a place of lack. Have you ever set an intention for $1,000,000, a new sports car, or a killer vacation to some exotic place? If you actually want to receive your manifestations, No matter if you want to fall in love, feel fulfilled and excited by your job, or energetic and fit in your body, it all comes down to the same thing: you want to feel alive.
Feeling alive is a result of being soulfully connected to others, feeling like what you contribute makes a difference to the greater picture, and feeling in touch with your body by honoring and cherishing it deeply.
